Uptown Art Fair Coming This August!

The event will be held August 5 - 7, 2011 and consist of professional and youth artists, performers, food vendors and local uptown businesses. The event is located at the intersection of Lake Street and Hennepin Avenue. During the event the Uptown Art Fair Headquarters is on Hennepin Avenue.
The Uptown Art Fair has received the following acheivements:

Approximately 375,000 people attend the Uptown Art Fair each year, only second in attendance to the Minnesota State Fair!
Each year the Uptown Art Fair selects a commemorative artist to be highlighted for the year. The work will be highlighted on the years promotional posters and receive extensive media exposure. Last year's winner was Lonnie Broden with her masterpiece titled "Uptown Fusion."
