Target Field Events Begin!

Come join us in celebrating the opening of Minnesota's newest landmark and new home for the Twins Major League Baseball Team where 3,500 Minnesota men and women dedicated over 2 million labor hours. Target Field's official grand opening is April 12th but before that there will be pre-season fun to check out the field. Don't miss these great opportunities before the soldout baseball season! The Sheraton Midtown is located in the historical district and only a couple miles away.

    • Target Plaza is an area and bridge that connects Target Field to downtown Minneapolis
    • Located at the corner of First Avenue and Sixth Street
    • Features: Nine 40-foot topiaries, a bronze baseball glove representing the Gold Glove award, Twins Tradition Wall, legend statues, Twins Hall of Fame Pennants, Minnesota Baseball History Monument, The "Wave" a wind powered wall installation
    • Offered the first time that fans were able to buy single game tickets
